Started STSThe virtual course management and health and safety of health workers, began on May 20 in its second version in the classroom of the Virtual Campus of Public Health (CVSP). This course is aimed at managers that are responsible for policy development, program planning and implementation in health systems and services. As well as human resource trainers in the field of health, with particular emphasis on specialists in area of public health and union representatives who are doomed to the implementation of policies on occupational health.

In the version of this year, the course has started with 58 participants from 14 countries in the region: Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela, all divided into seven working groups, which will be monitored by responsible tutors to guide them in July for six months in duration, this equates to an hourly payment of 200 hours (8 hours per week).

The course aims to build capacities in the field of management and health and safety of health workers in the Region of the Americas.
